Bigots are people too

Bigots have been much maligned. Why, we even had an Act of Parliament against them. So, thank goodness our Attorney General sees it fit to spend time campaigning for their rights to be bigots.

People like Fred Phelps, founder of the Westboro Baptist Church, who once said Australia’s bushfires were an act of God because we are a land of faggots – the gay man variety, not the small breaded meat balls enjoyed by the Welsh.
This week on Balls Radio Richard Kazimer talks about Fred Phelps, along with sanctions against Russia and the US attitude to free trade. Plus, how some companies are refusing to provide insurance cover that includes contraception, on religious grounds. Only in America!
Meanwhile in the UK John Dobbie reports on a patronising TV ad from the Tory party and a near mid-air disaster with a most unlikely cause.
David Campbell shows how New Zealand has become a hotbed of political intrigue, and Brian Haverty explains why he has sent his DNA off for processing.
Another hour (almost) of pure entertainment and enlightenment from the Balls Radio team.

What is Balls Radio?

Balls Radio is like talk radio, but for thinking people. Now a short daily occurrence, Phil Dobbie offers his opinions on what's happening, in the UK and overseas: politics, social policy, economics, science, religion. Yes, it's another, slightly overweight middle-aged white man telling the world how it should be. But there's nothing alt-right about Balls Radio. And we try and have fun along the way.
