The move stops the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a measure that was to be introduced on Feburary. This would have allowed undocumented immigrants who arrived in the country as children to stay and work legally. It seems some don't want that - perhaps they prefer an illegal workforce that is forced to operate below minimum wage. You can't give them rights - imagine how much it would cost!
