That Secret "Trans Pacific Partnership" Business

Somewhere in secret, 12 nations bordering the Pacific are negotiating  a deal that could challenge the basic concept of democracy.

As Matt Grudnoff from The Australia Institute explains, we know the deal will see foreign companies will be able to sue our government if a local decision adversely impacts their profits. In fact, its already written in to some our current free trade agreements.

We also look at the theory behind free trade agreements and ask if they work in practice.
